Welcome! We are a Recovery Community with a 24/7 chatroom and daily online Recovery Meetings for all who would like to achieve sobriety (or quit a specific drug/behavior) and find a new way to live.
All chatrooms and meetings are text/chat based and accessible to the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Group members participate by typing their shares. We are a chatroom where addicts hold each other up by the shoulders.
You can listen or share whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
Please stick around and greet visitors! This may be their first exposure to a Recovery Community.
Our Main Lobby is staffed by NEVERALONECLUB.ORG volunteers -- We try to be as tolerant and accepting of others as we can. We reserve the right to tone police participants who are argumentive, abusive towards others, or behave in a manner which is not conducive to the desired atmosphere of support for one another's individual recovery goals.
NEVERALONECLUB.ORG has disabled private messaging to combat financial/sexual predation, harassment, gossip, and exchanging drugs. We have all communications out in the open where everybody can see them and a moderator can remove anybody engaging in behavior that jeopardizes individual recovery or makes the room unsafe. Please do not circumvent this by providing offline contact information - email address, social media profile, messenger handle, txt message, phone etc. PLEASE safeguard your anonymity - not everybody here is clean or "working a program." To protect the group from predatory behavior we kick those who ignore this rule.
Please refrain from discussion of violence, sexual exploitation, politics, religion, attacking someone elses character or recovery or clean time -- or your perception of it. You are NOT REQUIRED to inform us if you are on "MAT" or psych meds.
The NEVERALONECLUB.ORG Main Lobby is NOT 12-step based, or affiliated with any recovery program -- AA, NA, or others we list on our Recovery Resources page. This is not a place to badger people into attending meetings of, or working, a specific recovery program.
Our First Time Visitors Often Ask Who We Are
Who are we not? We are you!
Some of our moderators and participants are members of 12-step abstinence focused programs.
Some of us are in other types of recovery programs or have a goal of quitting one particular substance.
The main thing we have in common is that we are all here to get through today together.
We exist to give any addict, anywhere, an alternative to using and isolating even if it is only just for today.
We exist for those who are not welcomed or treated respectfully in other online Recovery Communities.
Particularly: Those with a rigid focus on abstinence, anti-MAT bias, and/or anti-harm reduction bias.
We're here for you whether you're sober in a program or in treatment for the twelfth time.
We co-exist respectfully and ask that you do the same here... or leave.
These are public IRC chatrooms, anyone can join and say just about anything. It is the responsibility of the moderators on duty and present in the room to deal with abusive or inappropriate behavior. We have NO AFFILIATION with any recovery or treatment programs, including those whose formats may be featured in a one hour meeting on this website. NEVERALONECLUB.ORG does not "take sides" in chatroom disputes, as we have no ability to investigate who said what after the fact.

We do not offer a public e-mail address or contact form or have a business meeting. Office Hours are held in #office from 1:00 - 3:00 PM EST every Saturday.
"All are welcome, but not all behaviors."
Bans are removed (or at least publicly discussed for all members to weigh in on) every Saturday during Office Hours. We have a zero tolerance policy for threats and predation.
Bans for certain behaviors like threats of violence, doxxing, encouraging suicide, spamming, illegal activity, and predation are not automatically removed until agreed on during Office Hours.
Please attend if you would like to comment on your own ban or need assistance because you're innocently affected by a ban placed on somebody else.
Please bring comments, suggestions, feedback to Office Hours rather than making a case for something in chat where it might not be read by the correct audience.
